Description
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Crvenokljuna Čigra, Arktička čigra, Dugokljuna Čigra and Mala Čigra. Also Riječni Galeb and occasional Crnoglavi Galeb. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as Gavka, Crna patka and Crvenonoga guska. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Veliki svračak, Velika trepteljka, Šarenokrili azijski zviždak and Pjegava Grmuša. Trstenjak Rogožar and Trstenjak cvrkutić in the reed beds.

Access
Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
