This is an artifical wetland. It is higlighted with the wintering Sova močvarica population and the breeding population of Ružičasti nesit.
Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Sova močvarica population occurs. Also, the wintering Lisasta Guska flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Ždral krunaš breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Ćukavica can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Kulik Sljepčić, Štekavac, Prepelica, Patka Njorka, Glavata Patka and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Sjevernomorska guska which is the second record for Turkey. Ušara can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
You can reach the Yedikır Dam best by car. There are paved and unpaved roads to reach the dam area. Click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
