Description

The area of the Salmsacher Aachmündung has different biotopes. Forest, stream and lake give the opportunity to observe different bird species. Riječni Galeb, Siva Čaplja, Divlja Patka, Liska, Mlakuša, Veliki Vranac, Crvenokljuni Labud, Vodomar and Ćubasti Gnjurac are practically certain to be spotted during a visit.

Depending on the season and luck, you can also discover Dugorepa Sjenica, Gačac, Crvenokljuna Čigra, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Patka Gogoljica, Patka Kreketaljka, Krunata Patka, Bijela roda, Veliki Djetlić, etc. In winter, flocks of thousands of individuals can be observed.
