Giessensee is a lake in the village of Bad Ragaz that is good for some easy urban birding and where it's nice to photograph birds like Mandarinska patka or Divlja Patka. Other birds to observe are for example Vodomar, Mlakuša and Siva Čaplja.
There is a parking area next to the park. There are different trails in the park, some in the forest and some next to the lake.
