Description
The final part of Nyköpingsån river flows through the city of Nyköping. Along the river there is a very good walking path on both sides. Mostly functionally adapted. The best time to visit is during autumn, winter and spring. In the part from the harbor basin and upstream to Korsbron, there is no ice for the most part in winter and can Veliki ronac, Krunata Patka and Patka Batoglavica be observed. On the river's edge Siva Čaplja are often standing. At the rapids you can find Vodenkos and Vodomar. On the stretch from Folkunga Bridge to Storhusfallet, there is also a point for Vodenkos, Vodomar and Gorska Pastirica. From Storhusfallet to Stadsbron are mostly Divlja Patka, Krunata Patka and Patka Batoglavica. In the spring, the harbor basin is one of the places where the first Riječni Galeb, Crvenokljuna Čigra and other gulls and terns appear.
