Description
The Lillfjärden lake is primarily known for its geese. Sjevernomorska guska, Siva Guska, and Kanadska guska all breed. The lake also holds the entire swedish non-breeding population of Mala guska. Other geese like Lisasta Guska, Guska Glogovnjača, Crvenonoga guska can often be found. Some years Tundra guska and Grivasta guska are also found during migration periods.
The lakes rocky coast is also often home to waders like Crna Prutka, Crvenonoga Prutka, Kulik Sljepčić (breeds), Oštrigar (breeds), and Pršljivac. The lake holds large amounts of Divlja Patka and smaller amounts of other dabbling ducks. Even species which are rare in northern areas like Patka Kreketaljka, Patka Žličarka and Patka Pupčanica. Smaller amounts of diving ducks can often be found. Wintering Kugara and Pine Grosbeak are often found. Although the numbers vary widely.

Access
The lake lies directly north to the center of Hudiksvall. There are many places to park the car. Click on the P in the map to get directions. You can make a circular walk around the lake (2,5 km).
