Description

Långroudden is one of the most distinctive parts of the Kronören – Drivörens nature reserve. The place is popular with birdwatchers during the spring and autumn migration because the protruded location provides a good view of the passing birds. Wind, waves, and ice have created both cobblestone fields and bare-washed rocks. When the ice is off the coast of Umeå, Långroudden is usually a good alternative because the ice rarely settles here. Among the birds you can see in the area are Crnogrli Plijenor, Patka kulašica, Crna patka, Patka ledara, Gavka, Veliki ronac, Mali ronac, Oštrigar and Štekavac.
