One of the best birdwatching spots in the province of Lugo, which includes a fish farm, a marsh, a beach, an inlet and ponds.
The Lago complex is made up of a large fish farm, two freshwater ponds and others into which drainage from the fish farm flows, a marsh, a beach and an inlet protected from the sea by breakwaters. It is one of the best places to observe gulls. For example Riječni Galeb, Crnoglavi Galeb, Mali tamnoleđi galeb, Galeb klaukavac, Galeb Klaukavac and Veliki tamnoleđi galeb. In addition, Burni Galeb, Glaucous Gull, Iceland Gull and Galeb Klaukavac are regularly observed. There are also records from Troprsti galeb, Mali Galeb, Bonaparte's Gull , Delaverski galeb , Larus argentatus argentatus, Larus glaucoides kumlieni, Larus smithsonianus, and from the famous Thayer's Gull (Larus thayeri) known by the name "Cypriana" which spent seasons in several years consecutive here and was the first observation of the species in Spain.

También hay citas de Troprsti galeb , Mali Galeb , Bonaparte's Gull , Delaverski galeb , Gaviota de Kumlieni (Larus glaucoides kumlieni), Gaviota argéntea americana (Larus smithsonianus), Larus argentatus argentatus y de la famosa Gaviota de Thayer o Gaviota esquimal (Larus thayeri) conocida con el nombre de "Cipriana" que pasó temporadas en varios años consecutivos aquí y supuso la primera observación de la especie en España.
