The Duero riverside as it passes through Villaralbo is accompanied by a well-preserved riverside forest, great for observing forest and water birds.
The river Duero has large tracts of trees and reeds, together with the islands of the river, making it a magnificent place for bird watching. Among the birds you can spot are Ćubasti Gnjurac, Gak, Čaplja Danguba, Čapljica Voljak, Prugasta Trepetljka and Veliki Djetlić.

El Duero mantiene grandes masas arbóreas y carrizales, unido a las islas del río lo vuelven un lugar magnífico para la observación de aves como el Somormujo Lavanco, el Martinete, la Garza Imperial, el Avetorillo, el Bisbita Arbóreo o el Pico Picapinos.
It is accessed from the village of Villaralbo. Park on the outskirts of the village (click on the P in the map to get directions) and you can simply walk down to the riverbank. There are several signposted routes and the beginning of the road is paved so you can't get lost.
