Description
The small Puebla campsite is situated on the Embalse de José Torán. This reservoir is located on the bird migration route to Tarifa. As spring progresses, a large part of the reservoir dries up, allowing you to make beautiful walks inside the reservoir. Especially during the autumn migration the (empty) reservoir is visited by hundreds of Kulik Blatarić and Kulik Sljepčić, 3 species of Žuta Pastirica, countless Daurska Lastavica, as well as Hridna lastavica, Piljak, Bregunica and Lastavica. Pupavac can be seen in large numbers. Bijela lunja hunts every day, often with 2 or 3 individuals.
In spring and summer the campsite has breeding Rusi Svračak, Mrka Crvenrepka, Šumska Crvenperka, Crnoglava Muharica, Muharica, Iberian Grey Shrike, Španjolski Vrabac, 4 species of tits, Veliki Djetlić, Mali djetao and Zelena žuna. The Španjolski orao krstaš and Bjeloglavi sup breed in the vicinity of the campsite. Zmijar, Patuljasti orao and Bukoč are also frequently seen, as are Crna lunja and Crvena lunja.
Located between Seville and Cordoba, the small campsite is an excellent place to stay surrounded by nature. There are a huge variety of birds to spot on and around the campsite. If you stay for a few days, you can easily see 80 species of birds up close.
