Description
The Marismas de Santoñal, Victoria y Joyel Natural Park is a must-see for Spanish and even European birdwatchers. Within the park you find many places from where to spot birds, this being one of them. The Colindres Marshes are especially noteworthy for their reed beds, with many birds typical of that environment, such as Šljuka Kokošica, Trstenjak cvrkutić and Modrovoljka. In addition, the Colindres promenade has magnificent views of the wetland, where all kinds of seabirds or waders can be observed, such as Ušati gnjurac, Crvenogrli Plijenor, Crna patka and Troprsti Zlatar. In the surroundings of the promenade, you can see birds typical of coastal meadows and woodlands, such as Čižak, Sjeverna trepteljka, Žuta Pastirica and Drozd Cikelj.

Espagnol: Al sur del Parque Natural de las Marismas de Santoña, Victoria y Joyel, se encuentra la población de Colindres, que cuenta con su propio humedal. El Parque Natural de las Marismas de Santoñal, Victoria y Joyel es un emplazamiento de obligatoria visita para los pajareros españoles e, incluso, europeos. Dentro del parque encontramos muchos sitios desde donde avistar avifauna, siendo éste uno de ellos. Las Marismas de Colindres destacan especialmente por su carrizal, contando con muchas aves propias de ese entorno, como la Šljuka Kokošica, el Trstenjak cvrkutić o el Modrovoljka. Además, el paseo marítimo de Colindres cuenta con unas magníficas vistas del humedal, en el que pueden observarse todo tipo de aves marinas o limícolas, como Ušati gnjurac, Crvenogrli Plijenor, Crna patka o Troprsti Zlatar. En el entorno del paseo, pueden observarse aves propias de las praderas y arbolados costeros, como Čižak, Sjeverna trepteljka, Žuta Pastirica o Drozd Cikelj.

Access to the promenade is very easy, since there are many parking spaces and it is possible to reach the town through multiple means of transport. On the other hand, the walk is very flat and easy to navigate. Click on the P in the map for directions.
