Description

This small wetland located a little to the northeast of the village of Madrigalejo is nice to check out. There was a nice observation tower here, unfortunately, the lookout tower has burned down. Among the birds you can see in this place are Bijela roda, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Čaplja Danguba (April and May), Trstenjak cvrkutić, Crnoglavi Batić, Common Waxbill, Pčelarica, Šivalica, Eja Močvarica, Bijela lunja, Crvena lunja, Iberian Grey Shrike, Modra svraka and Afrička kukavica (January to April). In the winter months the Crnoprugasti Trstenjak is a regular visitor.
