Description
Les Basses d'en Coll is an important wetland reserve with 191 species seen. Winter wildfowl including Patka Njorka, Plamenac, Europska velika sultanka, Žličarka and Kokošica. Gulls including Galeb klaukavac. Also Čaplja Danguba, Veliki Trstenjak, Planinska trepteljka, Prugasti orao, Jastreb and Bjeloglavi sup. Kaukal and Balearska gregula offshore. In the fields and trees Slavuj, Zlatovrana, Kukmasta Ševa and Common Waxbill.

Access
Reserve is a 8 km walk south from Estartit along the beach. By car it's 19 km. From the main road between Palafrugell to Torroella, head east at Mas Carles and look for viewing platform. There are campsites north and south. The beach gets busy so summer visits are not recommended. No buses nearby.
