Description

Encinar de Bajil is a set of forest formations that has a rich fauna of forest birds of prey such as Suri orao, Bjeloglavi sup, Kobac, Sivi Sokol, Patuljasti orao, Zmijar, Škanjac, Ušara, Šumska sova and Ćuk, as well as, Zelena žuna, Veliki Djetlić, Iberian Grey Shrike, Riđoglavi Svračak, Modrokos, Primorska Bjeloguza and Crvenoka grmuša.

Espagnol: Uno de los encinares mejores conservados de la Región de Murcia, además el entorno tiene gran interés geológico y arqueológico. Este conjunto de formaciones boscosas cuenta con una rica fauna de rapaces forestales como azor, gavilán, águila calzada, águila culebrera, busardo ratonero, búho real, cárabo y autillo, además de arrendajo, pito ibérico, carbonero común, herrerillo común, reyezuelo listado, piquituerto, etc.

Access

From Caravaca De la Cruz continue to Archivel and from here cross the Campo de San Juan road taking a path that appears on the right with a small sign indicating "Zaén de Arriba", until you reach the village of Zaén de Arriba; approximately one kilometer to the left, a narrow paved road appears; following the road and leave the car in the first houses we come across (Bajil). Here you leave the car and start walking. The circular walk indicated on the map is about 11 km long.

Espagnol: Desde Caravaca De la Cruz seguir hasta Archivel y desde aquí atravesar la carretera del Campo de San Juan cogiendo un camino que aparece a la derecha con un pequeño cartel que indica "Zaén de Arriba", hasta llegar a la aldea de Zaén de Arriba; a un kilómetro, aproximadamente, a la izquierda aparece un estrecho camino asfaltado; siguiendo por él, se deja el coche en las primeras casas que nos encontremos (Bajil). Aquí dejamos el coche y comenzamos a caminar.
