North of the town of El Cotillo you find a barren coastal area. At the end of the track the lighthouse Faro El Toston is located.
The walk along the beach North of El Cotillo is varying between rocky lava fields and small bays with white sand. Here Mala Bijela Čaplja and Bijeli Žalar can be seen, but also Kameničak and Morski Kulik.
A bit further in inland (see map) is breeding ground for Ćukavica, along the road and path you can see Trumpeter Finch, Zapadna grmuša, Berthelot's Pipit and španjolska ševa. In the area also Crkavica and Sivi Sokol can be seen.
According to ebird Kaukal / Veliki zovoj and Red-billed Tropicbird has been seen.
Walk north from El Cotillo towards the lighthouse Faro El Toston.
