Bassa de Can Dunyó is a wetland that offers an interesting diversity of environments, with islands, reedbeds, open fields and scrub. The area houses a wide variety of bird species. Among the birds you can spot in the area are Galeb klaukavac, Rose-ringed Parakeet, Vodomar, Pupavac, Kukmasta Ševa, Gorska Pastirica, Žutarica, Češljugar, Svilorepa, Šivalica, Crnokapa Grmuša, Vatroglavi Kraljić, Kukmasta sjenica, Gavran, Common Waxbill, Velika Strnadica, Mali Gnjurac, Čaplja Govedarica and Mala Bijela Čaplja.
