Kompenzacioni bazen (compensation pool) has more than 220 species recorded by a single local birder, Ivan Medenica.
Locally common birds include Planinska trepteljka, Kukmasta Ševa, Grmuša Pjenica and Crnoglavi Batić. Followed by frequent Kratkoprsti kobac, Pjegava Grmuša, Sivi Voljić, Vuga, Grlica, Kosac, Leganj and Mala Šljuka.
Local rarities include mouth-watering birds such as Kudravi nesit, Ušati gnjurac, Azijska pustinjska grmuša, Crnoprugasti Trstenjak and Velika Ševa.
