Description

In the Neajlov Delta (also known as Comana Pond) 141 species of birds have been recorded. Half of which are internationally protected. Also 19 species of fish and 31 species of mammals were recorded in the Neajlov Delta. The area is partially landscaped as a park, but there are large areas completely wild and far from traffic and houses. Among the birds you can encounter are Vodomar, Veliki Vranac, Mali Vranac, Bjelobrada Čigra, Čapljica Voljak, Žuta Čaplja, Crvenokljuni Labud and Ćubasti Gnjurac.

The Neajlov Delta is very interesting to see all year round, especially for those who like semi-wild areas. However, the greatest diversity of birds and animals is, in my opinion, in the spring during the nesting period.
