Karpinka Bay is located near the marina on the shore of the Kamieniecki Reservoir in the tourist town of Kamień Pomorski. Many species of birds can be observed from the waterfront and pier, often from a close distance. These are mainly gulls: Galeb Klaukavac, Veliki tamnoleđi galeb, Galeb Klaukavac, Burni Galeb, Riječni Galeb. In addition to the gulls, you can often see Divlja Patka, Crvenokljuni Labud, Liska, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Bijeli ronac, Veliki ronac, Krunata Patka, Patka Batoglavica, Velika Bijela Čaplja, and sometimes rarer species appear, for example: Crnoglavi Galeb or Crnogrli Plijenor. It is quite common to see a hunting Štekavac.

The observation site is on the northern waterfront in Kamień Pomorski. There are plenty of parking spaces in the city. Press a P on the map for directions. You can get everywhere on foot or by bike or by watercraft. You can get across the bay to the other side by a footbridge.
