This 4 km long lake is of particular importance for water birds in the autumn and winter period.
The Jezioro Dominickie lake is of importance for many birds. This 384 hectare reservoir is connected by a system of canals with other nearby lakes. Geese (with a predominance of Siva Guska), Liska and various species of ducks (including Crna patka and Patka kulašica), as well as Crvenogrli Plijenor and Crnogrli Plijenor, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Crnogrli Gnjurac, Ušati gnjurac and Bijeli ronac winter in great numbers. Of the birds of prey, it is not uncommon to see Štekavac, sometimes Sivi Sokol.
Observations are best made from the southern side of the lake (also due to sunlight). An unpaved pedestrian and bicycle path runs along the lake shore.
