Description

Nykvåg is a charming fishing village situated on the west coast of the large island of Langøya, which is part of the Vesterålen archipelago. The village lies along the south side of Nykvåg bay.

In the village you can see one of the biggest Troprsti galeb nesting colonies. You can't miss it. Be aware to not disturb them as the site is directly at the side of the road. Don't miss the Auk island in the vicinity!

Access

Nykvåg is located on the west coast of the large island of Langøya, which is part of the Vesterålen archipelago. Press P on the map for directions. You can park right next to the breeding colony, it is directly at the road. Important: Keep enough distance to avoid disturbing the birds.
