Description
An artificial nesting wall for Bregunica was created adjacent to the reed marsh of the lake during the construction of the aqueduct. This wall is clearly visible from the cycle path. In the reed bed there are often Trstenjak Rogožar, Trstenjak cvrkutić, Brkata Sjenica and many species of ducks on the water. A pair of Štekavac has been nesting in the area for several years now.

Aansluitend aan het rietmoaras van het meertje is een kunstmatige oevezwaluwand gemaakt tijdens de bouw van het aquaduct. Deze wand is vanaf het fietspad goed zichtbaar. In het rietveld zitten vaak Brkata Sjenica Trstenjak Rogožar Trstenjak cvrkutić en op het water vele soorten eenden. In de buurt broedt al enkele jaren een paartje Štekavac.
