Description
The Klutenplas (which means 'the pond of the Modronoga Sabljarka') is a protected flooded piece of land that attracts many birds. From a viewpoint you have a surprisingly beautiful view. Many species of birds can be seen from here.
The breeding birds are protected against foxes with electric fence. Breeding birds that can be seen here: Kulik Sljepčić, Modronoga Sabljarka, Oštrigar and Vivak.
Other birds that can often be seen here: Žličarka, Mala Prutka, Pršljivac, Crvenonoga Prutka. With a little luck you can spot Eja Livadarka or Mala Bijela Čaplja.

Drive north from Westernieland; a narrow road that ends at the dike. Here you park the car (See the P on the map). It's a 30 minute walk from here.
