This is a very underestimated area by birders in The Netherlands. Crna žuna and other forest species can easily be found.
Brabantse Wal is very quiet with very few visitors, which is rare in the Netherlands. Combined with an array of good forest species makes this an ideal location for a quiet spring walk. Crna žuna and Mali djetao are interesting species that can be encountered. Šumski Zviždak, Krstokljun, Šumska Crvenperka and Muharica can be found in the forests. Leganj can be encountered during the summer on the heaths.
