Rock cliffs on the Atlantic Ocean that are excellent for seawatching. On the cliffs you can often see Sivi Sokol resting.

Description

Just north of the village of Taghazout these cliffs a a great viewpoint to watch sea birds. Depending on the weather conditions and time of the year you can see many birds flying by. With western winds sometimes even very close. Among the birds you can spot are Bluna, Veliki zovoj, Balearska gregula, Oštrokljuna njorka, Kratkorepi pomornik, Veliki pomornik, Dugokljuna Čigra, Prugasti Pozviždač, Lesser Crested Tern, Galeb klaukavac and Južni galeb. On the cliffs a pair of Sivi Sokol often can be seen resting. Also Northern Bald Ibis can fly by.

Access

If you drive north along the coast from Taghazout, you will pass the cliffs after 3 km. You can park on the side of the smaller road going to the right. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
