Aarida is a coastal strip along the Mediterranean in the north of Lebanon. This is an important area during autumn migration. Many birds may change direction there and may leave or receive new species. Among the birds you can encounter are Bijela roda, Vlastelica, Bijeli Žalar, Zlatar Pijukavac, Kulik Blatarić, Morski Kulik, Kulik Sljepčić, Žalar Cirikavac, Krivokljuna Prutka, Tankokljuni galeb, Gorska Pastirica, Vodomar, but also birds like Black-bellied Sandgrouse.
