Lagoon that is part of the Po Delta Regional Park and is fed by the waters of the Reno river. There are two large observation towers.
Valle Mandriole, also called Valle della Canna, covers an area of about 260 hectares. The vast reeds of the site are home to numerous nesting birds. Different species of birds can be observed: Siva Čaplja, Čaplja Danguba, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Čaplja Govedarica, Mala Bijela Čaplja, Žuta Čaplja, Gak, Blistavi Ibis, Sacred Ibis, Plamenac, Žličarka, Vlastelica and many species of ducks.

It is located along the Romea state road towards Comacchio. One of the observation towers, clearly visible from the Romea state road, is located under the bank of the Lamone river and has a small parking (see the map). The second, about 2 km further north with a small parking lot attached at the Ca' del Chiavichino (not visible from the road), can also be reached with a nice walk (800 meter) from the parking at Tenuta Augusta (see the map). Access to the area is free from dawn to dusk.
