Description
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Vlastelica, Kržulja, Utva, Zlatar Pijukavac, Kulik Blatarić, Veliki Pozviždač, Mala Prutka, Crvenonoga Prutka, Prutka Migavica, Krivokljuna Prutka, Kameničak, Pršljivac, Mali Žalar, Primorska Trepetljka, Crnoglavi Batić, Mala Bijela Čaplja, and Tankokljuni galeb.
