The Brenta river bed in Nove, at few km from the Valsugana, offers a good wintering point for buntings
The bed of the river Brenta near Nove is a special place, in late autumn and winter, because here buntings choose to stop for the cold season, because of the good availability of seeds which are their main diet. You can find Strnadica Cikavica , Žuta strnadica , Crnogrla Strnadica and the rare Bijeloglava strnadica , sometimes hybrids, sometimes pure ones. You an also spot Rusi Svračak , Jastreb , Kratkokrili Voljić , Crvenonoga Vjetruša , Bukoč , Juričica , Sokol Lastavičar , Zviždak (and the tristis too), Močvarna Strnadica , some Gak , Sjeverna Zeba , Veliki ronac , Ružičasti čvorak , Mali Drozd , Grlica and Pupavac.
