Coastal reserve with large areas of Mediterranean scrub. During spring migration this a good observation point where you can see many bird species.
Capo d'Otranto has easy access, thanks to the small lake of the former bauxite quarry. This is an excellent observation point for the spring migration of numerous species of birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Šareni kulik, Riđokrila Pješčarka, Južni galeb, Stepska Eja, Eja Močvarica, Riđi škanjac, Daurska Lastavica and Rüppell's Warbler.
