Dillon's Park

Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown  >  Ireland

This is an open space overlooking the sea and Dalkey Island. It's good for viewing passing seabirds and there's also some woodland.

Description

From the rocks on the shore, one can usually see Crna njorka, Bluna, terns and gulls. Attempts have been made on Dalkey Island to encourage nesting terns, especially Ružičasta čigra. The woodlands are worth checking but unlikely to offer better birding than elsewhere.
