Description
The small Rif wetland is located in the area of Melrakkaslétta on the Snaefellsnes peninsula in northwest Iceland. It is a breeding area for many birds and has an ideal location between the coast and the mountains. Among the birds you can encounter are Crvenogrli Plijenor, Ušati gnjurac, Gavka, Tankokljuna liskonoga, Mali ronac, Grivasta guska, Žutokljuni Labud, Arktička čigra, Kulik Blatarić, Crnorepa Muljača, Crvenonoga Prutka, Kratkorepi pomornik, Iceland Gull and Glaucous Gull.
