Description
Nagy-tó means Big Lake. In this large wetland next to the village of Tiszaalpár there is a big heron nesting colony in the willows-jungle around the Big Lake. Plenty of Gak, Čaplja Govedarica, Mala Bijela Čaplja, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Siva Čaplja, Čaplja Danguba, Žličarka and Žuta Čaplja nest in the area. But there are many other interesting birds to see like Crnoglavi Galeb, Riđogrli Gnjurac, Bijeli ronac, Štekavac and Rusogrla trepteljka.
