Description
Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Primorska Bjeloguza. Birds of prey include Vjetruša, Bjelonokta Vjetruša (especially at the acropolis), Ćuk and Riđi škanjac. Other birds you can encounter are Žuta Čaplja, Ćukavica, Riđoglavi Svračak, Daurska Lastavica and Mali Žalar.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
