Description

Volkspark Friedrichshain is a large urban park on the border of the Berlin neighborhoods of Friedrichshain and Prenzlauer Berg. It is the oldest public park in Berlin. 39 breeding bird species have been recorded. For example Zelena žuna, Žuti Voljić, Šumska sova and Muharica. There are two small ponds where ducks and Siva Čaplja can be seen. A visit is particularly rewarding early in the morning.

You can park either directly at the park or in the side streets. The area is also accessible by tram and bus. For example using bus number 200 from Unter den Linden.
