Description
The barrage at Staustufe Ingolstadt causes the Danube to widen considerably and slow down the flow speed. Here the Danube is more like a reservoir and that is ideal for some water birds to spend the winter at this place. Also there is a small island that attracts birds. Among the birds you can encounter are Patka Kreketaljka, Zviždara, Patka Gogoljica, Glavata Patka, Krunata Patka, Patka Batoglavica, Veliki ronac and Mali ronac.
