Description
The woodland on Asperberg is home to several types of forest. From beech forest to coniferous forest to mixed forest. As a result, many forest bird species can be found there. But the high density of woodpeckers is characteristic. Five woodpecker species (Crna žuna, Veliki Djetlić, Crvenoglavi djetlić, Mali djetao and Zelena žuna) can be found in the area.

Access
There is a car park directly on the road (Triftstraße), from which a path leads into the forest. The path is intended for cyclists and pedestrians and is divided into several smaller paths.
