Description

NSG Versunken Bokelt consists of a small lake with some gravel banks, a little sandcliff and a small forested area. You can find a nicely maintained hide on the north-western side of the lake with a good view on the whole area. During winter it is a nice spot to see migratory arctic birds like Veliki ronac, Utva, etc. In spring you can encounter breeding birds like Kulik Sljepčić, Vodomar and more.

Access

NSG Versunken Bokelt is located just east of the village of Rhede. The bird hide is easily accessible via a short gravel road right a the south point of the bridge over the B67. Press P on the map for directions.
