Description
The lookout from the Moorochse tower is ideal in the morning, as from midday onwards there is backlighting and therefore reflections in the water. Vodomar regularly hunt here and the large number of Veliki Vranac make them a popular hunting target for Štekavac. Other birds you can encounter are Ždral, Patka Kreketaljka, Bijela Pastirica, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Divlja Patka, Kokošica, Mlakuša, Crvenokljuni Labud and Mali Gnjurac.

Access
The Moorochse observation tower is situated on the banks of the lake Plauer See, 9 km north of the town of Plau am See. Park at the nature center Karower Meiler. Press P on the map for directions. From the parking it is 1.7 km on foot or by bike to the observation tower.
