Description
The Leipheimer Moos is a beautiful moorland with wide areas for Eja Močvarica as well as the rare Kosac, Žuta Pastirica, Pjegavi Cvrčić and migratory Livadna Trepetljka. In the reed areas north of the border ditch Modrovoljka likes to sing, in the cattle pastures Crnoglavi Batić and along the boardwalk circuit (the boardwalk itself is unfortunately closed) Vijoglav, Slavuj, Šljuka Kokošica, Vivak, Grmuša Pjenica, Kukavica, Fazan and Crna žuna can be heard or seen.
Also worth a visit in autumn/winter when there are Eja Strnjarica, Veliki svračak, Sova močvarica, Lisasta Guska and Ždral.
