Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord is a complex of gravel pits west of Rössing. Breedings birds include Svilorepa and Veliki Trstenjak. More important from October to February for wintering waterbirds. Gulls and Siva Guska roost in July and August. Birds you can observe in the area include Lisasta Guska, Guska Glogovnjača, Patka Kreketaljka, Divlja Patka, Kržulja, Krunata Patka, Veliki ronac, Mali ronac, Mali Gnjurac, Ćubasti Gnjurac, Liska, Močvarna Strnadica, Riječni Galeb, Burni Galeb, Galeb klaukavac, Galeb Klaukavac, and Galeb Klaukavac.

Access
The Kiesteiche Nordstemmen Nord are located west of the town of Rössing and north of the town of Nordstemmen. You can park along the road near the sports field. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. From there you can explore the area on foot or by bike.
