Description
Freiburg is a city worth a visit and the Rieselfeld is close enough to be compatible with a visit to the town. In the wet areas, you can find wetland-loving birds such as ducks, Šljuka Kokošica, Prutka Migavica, Velika Bijela Čaplja, Kokošica, Vivak and Siva Čaplja. Other birds you can see in the surrounding area are Vijoglav, Kukavica, Veliki svračak, Crvena lunja, Crna lunja, Poljska Ševa, Rusi Svračak, Crnoglavi Batić and Grmuša Pjenica. In the forest areas that are adjacent to the nature reserve breed Mali djetao, Crvenoglavi djetlić, Crna žuna, Vuga and Brgljez.

It's a 5 minute walk from tram-station Bollerstaudenstraße (line 5) or bus stop Mundenhof (line 19). Also near these stations there is anough space for car-parking.
