The Donaumoos is the largest moor in southern Germany and is located in the city triangle of Neuburg, Schrobenhausen and Ingolstadt.
North of the village of Langenmosen is the Donaumoos area of 'Wiesenbrütergebiet Langenmoosen'. Almost 300 hectares of meadows and wet grasslands that is breeding territory of meadow birds like Vivak and Veliki Pozviždač.
You can park at the Moosberg. Click on the P in the map for directions. From the Moosberg you can explore the area on foot.
