At Bärenbrücker Teiche you can see especially in winter many ducks like Patka Žličarka, Zviždara, Divlja Patka, Patka Lastarka, Kržulja, Patka Gogoljica, Patka Njorka, Krunata Patka and Patka crninka. And you can also find several species of geese like Siva Guska, Lisasta Guska, Tundra guska and at the narrow fields you can see Tundra guska, Crvenovrata guska and Sjevernomorska guska. In winter you can also find some Žutokljuni Labud, Mali labud and all year around many Crvenokljuni Labud.
In spring and autumn many limicoles visit Bärenbrücker Teiche. Waders such as Modronoga Sabljarka, Zlatar Pijukavac, Vivak, Kulik Blatarić, Kulik Sljepčić, Riđa muljača, Rđasti Žalar, Pršljivac, Krivokljuni Žalar, Sijedi Žalar, Žalar Cirikavac, Mali Žalar and Šljuka Kokošica.

Access
Bärenbrücker Teiche is located 15 km northeast of the city of Cottbus and immediately north of the village of Bärenbrück. From Dorfstraße you can drive with car or bike to a little road between Unterteich and Streckteich. At the middle of the little road is a little spot were you can parc your car. Click on the P in the map for directions to the parking spot. From there another little path leads to the Unterteich where most birds can be observed.
