Abtskücher Teich is a lake with surrounding bushes. The pond and stream provide a good environment for various waterfowl and water-loving birds. You can see Vodomar, Veliki Vranac, Siva Čaplja, Crvenokljuni Labud, Veliki Djetlić, Divlja Patka and Liska. Also Nutrias live here. In the surrounding fields, you can also see Vatroglavi Kraljić, Zlatoglavi Kraljić, Vrabac, Jastreb and Škanjac.

The Abtskücher Teich is located 3 km west of the town of Velbert. Parking lots are nearby. Press P on the map for directions to a parking. There is a footpath around the pond (about 1 km).
