Description
Kochebi Lake is a remnant of the Caspian Sea located on 800 meters above sea level. It is a shallow lake of brackish water, surrounded by meadows, fields and a small forest. More than 150 bird species have been observed in the area. Birds you can observe include Zlatokrila utva, Vlastelica, Kulik Sljepčić, Mala Prutka, Crnokrila Prutka, Prutka Migavica, Pršljivac, Crnogrli Gnjurac, Pčelarica, Zlatovrana, Rusi Svračak, Velika Ševa, Crnoglava Strnadica, Velika Strnadica, Vrabac kamenjar, Riđi škanjac, Eja Močvarica, Eja Strnjarica and Eja Livadarka.

Kochebi Lake is located about 4 km east of Dedoplitzskaro and is best accessed by car or bicycle. There is an unpaved road in the west and north of the lake. Press P on the map for directions.
