Réserve des Barails is a cultivated landscape of wet meadows in the heart of Bordeaux. With nearly 160 hectares, the reserve represents the largest green space in the city of Bordeaux. Among the birds you can see are Čaplja Govedarica, Mala Bijela Čaplja, Bijela roda, Vodomar, Crna lunja, Veliki Vranac and Divlja Patka.

Entrances with parking: avenue du Golf, cours Jules Ladoumègue, allée du Bois. Large car park near the Matmut Atlantique stadium. Public transport: Tram C or bus 25, 37 and 73, Parc des expositions - Stade Matmut stop. By bicycle: from Bordeaux, along the velodrome to the right and turn right before the football fields. The reserve has six kilometers of paths that crisscross the area.
