Marais de Bourges is close to the historic center of Bourges. Initially intended to provide protection to the city, these old swamps crossed by the river Yèvre have been converted into allotments, one of the last market garden marshes in France. Today classified and protected, the Bourges marshes extend over 135 hectares and are cultivated by their owners. You can discover the marshes on foot, by bike or by boat. You will observe mostly common birds, with sometimes less common birds such as Šumska Crvenperka, Vatroglavi Kraljić, Siva Grmuša and Kukavica.
