Nice Brenne pond that you can view from a rural path.
On Etang de la Métairie numerous ducks are present during the breeding period, during migration and in winter. Also waders and herons can be observed. Easy to combine a visit to this pond with a visit to the adjacent pond Etang de Bernadoux (also described on Birdingplaces).

On D148, from Subtray, circuit n°5 (see link with map) take the portion on the left on dirt road to the left of the Bernardoux pond. Nice view of the Étairie pond on the right.
