Le Havre de Geffosses is a dune and marsh area that is a refuge for migrating birds, waders and waterbirds.
In the dune area many birds can be seen (larks, pipits, waders and plovers) and at the level of the marsh there are several observatories in order to have a good view on the birds. In autumn and winter the marsh is filled with water and many ducks can be seen, while in summer and spring it is mainly shorebirds and passerines you can find here.
